Auditions
Venue: The Electric Theatre, Onslow Street, Guildford GU1 4SZ
Date: 2nd June 9am - 12am
The Electric Theatre is a few minutes walking distance from Guildford mainline railway station. If coming by car there is ample parking nearby.
Our pianist will be at hand to play for all auditionees.
The operas will be sung in an English version produced by Peter Melville from which the excerpts below are taken.
Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings starting on 11th September and will be in Merrow Methodist Church Hall, Bushy Hill Drive, GU1 2SH.
Principals will not be required every week, but there will be three Sunday afternoon rehearsals, dates TBA which the cast should be available for.
We welcome auditions from those looking to double the roles of Nedda/Lola and Tonio/Alfio and those applying for the roles individually.
NB. Principals not doubling roles will be required to perform in ensembles of the other half of the double bill, but not required for every rehearsal.
